Alcoholic Beverage Service

Vending of alcohol in the stands will conclude at the end of the 7th inning for 9 inning games and the 5th inning for 7 inning games, Illinois law requires anyone to be at least 21 years of age and have a valid ID to purchase and consume alcohol. Rent One Park, as well as our vending and concessions workers, reserve the right to refuse sale/service of beverages to anyone who appears to be intoxicated or is without valid ID.



Service animals are the only animals permitted within the gates of Rent One Park, except for Bark in the Park nights. Service animal must be wearing service vest or have a service animal ID Card.


Anthem Singers

See National Anthem.



Time and schedule permitting, players and coaches may sign autographs after the game. Normally at least one player is present when the gates open to sign autographs.


Automated Teller Machine (ATMs)

ATMs are no longer available at Rent One Park.  Credit and Debit is accepted for payment at all concessions and retail stations.



All items that are allowed into the ballpark may be inspected. Purses, diaper bags, backpacks, and camera bags will be permitted into the ballpark, but items must fit into a 16" x 16" x 8" box. Bags on wheels are prohibited.



Rent One Park welcomes fan support in the form of handmade banners and signs. To ensure that all fans will have an unobstructed view of the ballgame, banners may not be hung anywhere in the ballpark. Banners may only be displayed before and after the game and between innings. Banners are subject to confiscation if the content is commercial, political, and/or in bad taste according at the discretion of the staff of Rent One Park. Rent One Park reserves the right to remove any banner at any time. Banners or signs must be made of a light, flexible material, such as paper or cloth, and cannot be made of wood, metal or other inflexible materials that could be dangerous in a public setting.

Batting Practice 

Miners and Wild batting practice are closed to the public.


Rent One Park would like to wish happy birthday to our fans who are visiting on their special day and have a variety of offers and packages available to help commemorate the occasion. If you would like to have someone’s birthday announced over the PA (no video graphic), requests must be made before the 1st pitch.

Box Seat 

These seats are in sections 101-103, sections 111-114, as well as the top half of sections 104, 105, 109, 110. These seats are chairback seats down the baselines with great views, just make sure to watch out for foul balls as the net does not extend through these sections. We have 1,610 Box Seats at Rent One Park.

Camera/Video Equipment 

Guests are welcome to bring cameras and video recorders into the ballpark for personal use. However, any photographic equipment cannot be used to reproduce the game and must not interfere with other fans' enjoyment of the game.


Container Policy 

No hard-sided coolers, thermoses, glass bottles, cans, or alcoholic beverages will be permitted into the ballpark. In addition, no plastic or paper cups containing beverages will be permitted into the park at the entry gates.



In case of emergency, a defibrillator is located at the First Aid Office at Rent One Park


 Fan Assistance Center 

The Fan Assistance Center is located behind home plate Lower Concourse.  The center operates from the time the gates open until after the game ends. Fans may obtain information, get directions, offer suggestions, and receive assistance with any situation that may occur during their visit.


 Fan Code of Conduct 

Courteous behavior is expected of all fans. Any fan infringing on another fan's enjoyment of the game is subject to ejection from the ballpark. Our staff will intervene when necessary to support an environment where fans can enjoy the baseball experience free from the following behaviors: Foul/abusive language or obscene gestures; intoxication or other signs of impairment related to alcohol consumption; displays of affection not appropriate in a public setting; obscene or indecent clothing; any disruption to the progress of the game by a fan's action or unauthorized persons on the playing field; fans seated in a location other than their ticketed seat. If anyone is interfering in another fan's enjoyment of the game, they are encouraged to contact the nearest usher or visit the Fan Assistance Center.

First Aid 

First Aid room is located behind home plate on the lower concourse by the Suite and Media Entrance. Staff from SIH are on hand during and after the game for fan assistance.


First-Time Visitors 

We welcome all our first-time visitors and would like to help make sure that your first visit to Rent One Park is the experience for you to remember. To get started, we recommend the following unique attractions at the ballpark:


  • Visit our Fan Assistance Center for a free certificate or button commemorating your first visit to Rent One Park

  • Walk the concourse and observe the various Miners Moment pictures and mining history of Southern Illinois

Gates open 1 hour before the game start time.

Handicap parking is available along the South and West side of the ballpark.

Hot Corner 

Located on the concourse of the first base side is the Entertainment Plaza that features TVs, an enhanced menu, and full bar as well as games such as bags, ping pong, shuffleboard, foosball, and more.



Children age 2 and under may be admitted to a game at Rent One Park without a ticket; however, they must sit in the lap of an accompanying adult. Children are not permitted to remain in strollers, which must fit under your seat to be allowed into the seating area.

  Kids Run the Bases 

After every Sunday home game, kids of all ages are invited to take the field and run the bases.

Lost and Found 

Lost and found items should be taken to the Fan Assistance Center. Fans inquiring about lost items should call the Rent One Park Box office 618-998-8499.

Lost Parents/Found Children 

Children who cannot find their parents should go to the Fan Assistance Center. Parents looking for their children should also go to the Fan Assistance Center.

 Military Programs 

Rent One Park would love to recognize our military recently returning home from service. A "Welcome Home" Scoreboard Messages for servicemen and women returning from abroad can be requested at least 48 hours before the serviceman and or women attends a game at Rent One Park


Mini Golf 

Rent One Park is home to its own specially designed 10-hole mini-golf course and included with a Miners game ticket.


National Anthem

If you would like the chance to sing the National Anthem at a Miners game, please send an .mp4 or .mov file of you singing the anthem to



Rent One Park features a souvenir shop located behind home plate near the main entrance for your Miners/Wild souvenir shopping convenience. The Miners do not have an online store but items can be purchased and shipped out.  You can request a copy of our team store catalog by e-mailing and call the box office to place your order.



Rent One Park is easily accessible via Morgan Avenue, Miners Drive and Blue Heron Dr. General parking on a day of the game is free and subject to availability.


Party Facilities 

Let us host a spectacular event at the ballpark for you and your guests. We can easily accommodate groups of 14 to 250 people. For rental of pregame and party facilities during Miners games, please call the Rent One Park Box office at 618-998-8499. Catering for all party events is provided by the Southern Illinois Miners preferred catering partner. 


Private Suites 

We have one luxury suite available for rent on a game-by-game basis.  These suites offer indoor and outdoor seating with a TV included so that you will never miss any of the action. The suite is $450 per night and includes 14 tickets and 6 reserved spot parking passes. This is located on the suite level that fans must have a suite ticket to be given access to. The suites will have a personal wait staff, and the suite level has its own set of bathrooms separate from the main concourse. We offer a different menu for suites as well so that you can order food from it and have it ready when you arrive at the ballpark. Contact the box office for more information 618-998-8499.


Public Transportation 

Rent One Park will now be a stop for the RMTD bus service.  Please check back for schedules and more information.



Miners Program Guide: The Miners Souvenir Program is now available online and contains biographical and statistical information on the team's players, coaches, and staff. The program also contains the records and history of the franchise. As well as coupons and ads from some of our many great sponsors. If a game is officially postponed due to rain, tickets for that game will be considered rainchecks. Rainout policies vary based on the situation. A policy will be announced after the game is officially postponed. Any game suspended after five innings (or 4 ½ innings if the Miners are ahead) is considered a complete game. Suspended game tickets cannot be exchanged. Complimentary ($0.00 value) tickets are not exchangeable.


Re-Entry Policy 

Fans will be permitted to re-enter the ballpark once they leave. They must produce their ticket for re-entry. Certain events such as concerts may have different re-entry rules.


Rent One Park History 

The Southern Illinois Miners have enjoyed playing over 500 games in the beautifully constructed stadium known as Rent One Park.  The seating capacity of 4000 seats with additional seating in our picnic gardens and lawn sections.  Rent One Park was constructed in 2007 with the first game played on May 29th, 2007. Rent One Park has also been the host of various concerts, wrestling events, and baseball tournaments.



Spacious restrooms are located on all levels throughout the ballpark. Changing tables are available in most men's and women's restrooms. A Family restroom is located on the 1st base side.


Scoreboard Surprises 

Fans may recognize that special person's birthday or anniversary on Rent One Park’s centerfield video board. Please call 618-998-8499 or visit at least 48 hours in advance to schedule your Scoreboard Surprise. Requests cannot be taken on the day of a game. Fans may also sign up for future games in the Fan Assistance Centers by providing the following information: celebrant's name, address, age/years married, the date of the game, and the name and daytime phone number of a contact person in case the staff have a question.  


Security Procedures - Ballpark Entry COVID-19 PROTOCOLS COULD EFFECT BALLPARK ENTRY IN 2021

 Rent One Park, has established the following security procedures for entrance into the ballpark: 

  • All items permitted into the ballpark may be inspected. No large bags or oversized items, or bags on wheels, are allowed in the ballpark
  • No outside food may be brought in
  • Non-alcoholic beverages in plastic bottles are permitted into the park. All items will be checked at the gates and any beverage which has been opened or partially consumed prior to entry is subject to confiscation if it is thought to contain alcohol. In addition, no plastic or paper cups of beverages are permitted into the park at the entry gates.
  • No containers or unauthorized items can be left at any park entrance. You will be asked to return them to your vehicle.
  • Weapons of any kind are not permitted in the ballpark.
  • Air horns, cowbells, and other noisemakers are prohibited. Brooms and camera stands, such as tripods, are also not permitted in the ballpark.
  • Only vehicles dropping off or picking up guests with disabilities are permitted to stop curbside at the ballpark. No other vehicles are permitted curbside, nor will people be able to stand and wait with their vehicles.

 Security Procedures  

If you see a problem or need assistance, you can easily and discreetly contact a Marion Police Department Officer at the ballpark.

 Smoking Policy 

Rent One Park honors Illinois State Law and does not allow smoking inside the stadium. Guests must smoke only in the smoking section of the ballpark.  This area is located outside the ballpark gate on the Southeast corner. Fans may not exit the facility with alcohol and must show their ticket for return.


Strollers are permitted inside Rent One Park. If you take yours with you to your seating area, it must fit under your seats. Larger strollers may be checked at our Fan Assistance Center.

 Suspended Game 

If a game which has been started and is not an official game, or the game is an official game and is tied, and the game is canceled for any reason, it will be considered a suspended game. The game will be resumed from the point of suspension the next time the two teams meet in the home team's park. If the two teams do not meet in the home park again during the year, the game will be completed in the visitor's park. If it is the final game between the two teams, it will either be a tie game if official (4 1/2 innings) and all statistics count, or a canceled game (if not official). Scheduled off days cannot be used to complete a suspended game. The suspended game will be completed to its original nine (9)-inning conclusion. Following the completion of the suspended game, the regularly scheduled game will be seven (7) innings in length.


Tickets for regular season Miners and Wild home games can be purchased at the Rent One Park Box Office Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Tickets may be ordered by telephone by calling 618-998-8499 or online at In the event that a game is sold out, standing room only tickets may be made available.

 Tours of Rent One Park 

Tours of Rent One Park are available by making a request at least 1 week prior and based on schedule availability. Arrangements can be made by contacting the box office at 618-998-8499

Umbrella/Rain Protection Policy 

Small umbrellas are now allowed into Rent One Park

 Wheelchair Service 

A wheelchair is available in the First Aid Station. Wheelchairs are to be used for transportation purposes, and the Miners provide all fans with this service. Wheelchairs cannot be signed out for the entire game; due to the limited number of wheelchairs, they may only be used to transport an individual to their seat and should not be used outside the gates to transport an individual to their vehicle.

Will Call

 All paid and complimentary tickets can be picked up at the Will Call Window. Fans can also leave tickets for other fans to pick up at this location Will Call is the first window with the Will Call sign above it. A valid photo ID that matches the Will Call name is required to receive tickets. Will Call opens two (2) hours prior to all home games and closes at the end of the 5th inning.
